Bible Question: is there a parable where a king gives three men some silver and two of them invest it in hope to gain more and the third hides it so that he doesn't lose it and when the king asks what they did with it the third one tells him what he did and the king banishes him to hell? if so what does this mean and does it have to do with sharing Christ? |
Bible Answer: The parable is found in Matthew 25.14-30, although it is about a man and his servants rather than about a king. The lesson from the parable is to use the gifts that God has given us to the utmost. This will include sharing Christ both by word and deed. Even the weakest of us can do something. The point about the man with the one talent is that he did not use it at all. He did not give a genuine response to his master |
