Bible Question: Is the Rapture (not the word, but the event itself) mentioned in the Old Testament? |
Bible Answer: There is types of the rapture in the OT. For example the story of Joseph. Joseph was a type of Christ. (His life was) When Joseph's brothers came to him the first time (Gen. 42)The brothers did not reconize Joseph. (As the Jews did not reconize their Messiah. But the second time the brothers came back Joseph told the Gentiles to leave the room (type of the rapture) Then Joseph made known to his brothers who he was. Which Jesus will show the Jews (His Brethern) who he is, The Christ. |
