AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 24:3 ¶ While Jesus was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, and said, "Tell us, when will this [destruction of the temple] take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end (completion, consummation) of the age?" |
Bible Question:
Why study prophecy? With so many important subjects in God's Word, why should we study end-time prophecy? |
Bible Answer: I think God's Word being about 1/3 prophecy is important. Prophecy also confirms theat the Bible is the Word of God. Also without knowing these prophecies I personally would be afraid in these days we live in not knowing what is going on. And in Revelation 1:3: Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near. Jesus thinks endtime prophecy is important. |
