AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 24:3 ¶ While Jesus was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, and said, "Tell us, when will this [destruction of the temple] take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end (completion, consummation) of the age?" |
Bible Question: Is the Rapture (not the word, but the event itself) mentioned in the Old Testament? |
Bible Answer: Kalos, I do know that there is scripture that is against it. Ezekiel 13:19,20. V19:And will ye pollute Me among My People for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to My People that hear your lies? V20: Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. It's best to read the whole chapter because surrounding verses help in the full meaning of the Lord God's anger. Hope this helps. Love for the true Father, Serenetime |
