Bible Question: If you never talk to a person and make them cry, just because you never talk to them for a year and never see them again, is that a sin? Or is it just you saying I don't want to have anything to do with you. |
Bible Answer: Hi JJ. Personally I was on the receiving end of that, being ignored is truly painful and hurtful. My suggestion, is to pray about the person. See what the Lord guides you too do. But I hope you have explained your reasons to the person who is crying. If your reason has to do with Godly laws and being unequally yoked. Then truly you need to explain that. Give the person true closer dont just avoid them, you obviously shared time with this person for them to grow close to you. In everything I turn to Jesus as my example, if He forgave all who persecuted them then, surely we can forgive too. Use him as your judge and act Christ like in all things especially when its a matter of the Heart. But if you truly cant be with this person dont ignore them but explain your reason and surrender it to God. Its tough when we have to cut ties and if you explained its the best you can do. But it all depends on your reason, and what happened. If its bothering you, the Holy spirit is leading you too handle it differently. Ask him How. God bless. Wish you all the best. |
