Subject: What is Love?? |
Bible Note: I have to agree. It's practically impossible to do justice to the definition of love in a Biblical discussion. We could discuss the many different ways Americans abuse love: "I love my pizza and ice cream" and then turn to the most precious person in the world to us and say "I love you too!!" How much more of a dichotomy do we need? Then we could discuss the 3 different words in the Koine Greek language of the Bible for love, each with its own very distinct definition. So I guess the ball is in your court. What particular kind of love are you wishing to discuss? Man's or God's? His is described pretty well, as mentioned in 1 Cor 13. Ours pales in contrast. God bless. PS: The search function to the right of your screen will bring up everything you could possibly want to know about this subject as this has been discussed many times before. |
