Bible Question: What did Jesus mean when He said He would give the workers hired later "whatsoever is right"? Found in St. Matthew 20:4 |
Bible Answer: Greetings Robertn and welcome to the forum, A lot of times it helps to read a different translation if you don't understand the meaning of a verse. The Gods Word translation says " He said to them, 'Work in my vineyard, and I'll give you whatever is right.' So they went. These men were so eager to work that they did not even negotiate the price. The landowner said that he would pay them what he thought was a fair wage. prayon |
