Bible Question: Does God forgive a man ho repeatedly commit adultery and abuse each time asking forgiveness? |
Bible Answer: Based on Matthew 18:22 the answer would be yes. However no being able to see inside this man I have to ask myself is he really repentant or is he playing his fire card. In other words is this man really serving the Lord or is he serving the flesh and tried to get out of trouble by saying he is sorry. No matter how often God forgives the man, no person should tolerate being abused by another for any reason. If you are being abused get yourself to safety. Or take steps to protect yourself. Also the person that is doing the abusing has other problems they need help and if they refuse to seek that help that is a clear indication they don't see any problem with abuse. Therefore their asking for forgiveness is hollow. |
