Bible Question (short): Omission of Matthew 18:11

Question (full): It appears that this question on the omission of Matthew 18:11 has come up before. However, it doesn't seem that a favorable answer was given. Does anyone have a reason other than "translation" or "version?" Could it be intentional? If so, why?
