Bible Question: What does Matthew 16,-24 mean when it says pick up ypur cross |
Bible Answer: Greetings! To add just a little more to the above answers. The cross is at the place where your will differs from God's. To take up your cross means to deny your self. To do this you must count your desires, thoughts, feelings, plans - your entire former way of life and thinking as having died. In its place you are to chooses God's thoughts, God's will, God's emotions, God's purposes, and God's power at the very center of your being and life. prayon |
