Bible Question: Isnt there such thing of stabling stones. |
Bible Answer: Hi created, You'll have to rephrase your question if you want to talk of stepping stones or stable corner stones, or whatever. But I'll give you some verses to consider for thinking of a rock. Parentheses will be mine for comparisons. Psalm 18:30, "As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the (Lord) is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God, The God who girds me with strength, And makes my way blameless?" Psalm 59:16, "But as for me, I shall sing of Thy strength; Yes, I shall joyfully sing of Thy lovingkindness in the morning, For (Thou) hast been my stronghold, And a refuge in the day of my distress. O my strength, I will sing praises to Thee; For God is my stronghold, the God who shows me lovingkindness." Psalm 18:27, "For (Thou) dost save an afflicted people; But haughty eyes Thou dost abase. For Thou dost light my lamp; The Lord my God illumines my darkness. [And He can open our eyes also, see John 9:17] For by Thee I can run upon a troop; And by my God I can leap over a wall." Psalm 18:1-3, "I love Thee, O Lord, my strength." The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, *my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; *my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the (Lord), who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies." Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Thy sight, O (Lord), my rock and my *redeemer." See an early copyright. Psalm 92:15, "To declare that the Lord is upright; [He is] my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in (Him)." Psalm 62:2, "He only is my rock and my salvation, *my stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken." Psalm 62:5, "My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, *my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. On (God) my salvation and my glory rests; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us." 1 Corinthians 10:3,4, NKJ, "all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ." From the heart, Ray |
