Bible Question: In light of the verse given in Matthew 12:50...can we call Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons brothers? If not, would it be inappropriate for me to tell them that Jesus loves them and died for their sins? |
Bible Answer: Praise the Lord! Well we can't call them brothers because they believe in a different teaching from what the Bible says. In Galations 1:8-9 it says that if any man or angel teach any other gospel to let them be accursed. But about telling them that Jesus loves them and that he died for them....of course you should tell them! In Matt 28:19-20 we are told to spread Jesus teaching to all nations and make disciples of them. If Jesus died for everyone then he definetly had to love us enough to die for all of us. Hope this helps! God bless you! |
