Bible Question: Matt 12:33, talks about making a tree good or bad, how dose one make thier tree good? |
Bible Answer: Context is everthing. Christ is not talking about "making a tree good or bad," rather He is talking about the judgement of the Pharisees. The Pharisees stated that the good (casting out demons) Christ was doing was done by the power of Satan (verse 24). See Christ's whole argument in verses 25 through 37. Always be careful not to take a single statement out of context. Many a false doctrine has its origins in unsound exegesis. In Him, Doc |
