Bible Note: Thank you! My thought was that it may be comparison between response to the Word and people not satisfied but I had trouble pin pointing supporting detail as you have and bounced instead Verses 16-17 from vs 18 (thought at first conversation was only among children/playmates but the words suddenly were re to John and Christ)...have another quick question. Do you know of a website that can explain some of the Gospels in light of the idioms that were readily understood at the time (ie: as today some will say: it is raining cats and dogs...other generations could wonder what that means.)
