Bible Question: I am using this verse for my youth group and wondered if anyone has tried to explain this to youth and, if so, how did you proceed? |
Bible Answer: i am a youth so if it helps i am going to say how i would like it. basicly i love people who can be bold and blunt and, well you have to be with this passage becuse that is how Jesus put it. i mean if you look at the verses preseeding it there prety bold, but true and, that is how this must be presented. however, in explaning this verse understandbly the verbage is key especialy in the first statment the verb found. becuse how can you find somthing you were born in to. however, the verb also means proved and, regarded. where if the life of sin and, selfeshness, the life of loving your faimly and, yourself more than Jesus is the one you know and, prove and, regared then you will not receve hevenly life. but, if you dissregar lose that life and gain new life in Jesus you will live in that new life, [the higher life,] the life we are called to life in Christ. |
