Bible Note: Greetings Annalee! I apologize for not writing sooner! We can do a search for the information on the Internet, but the ultimate "source" for that information (if it came from Josephus, etc..) would only be secondary to that of the New Testament itself. The New Testament gives us clues here and there of what happened to the apostles. John, for instance, was exiled on Patmos. We know that Peter (and others I believe) had a wife (1 Cor. 9:5), and we know quite a bit of what happened to Paul by reading the New Testament. We know of what happened to James (Acts 12:2) and we read about some of the disciples and churches along the way. I believe that the New Testament is the single best source for knowing what happened to the other apostles, even though that there is other 'extra-biblical' information out there that does exist.
