Why were the disciples only to stay at a home of a worthy person? What is a worthy person? Is this a contrast in how they went out? |
Bible Answer: A worthy person was someone that was willing to accept the gospel of Christ. (WORTHY - "axios", deserving, comparable, suitable (as if drawing praise) No contrast. They were to bring God's peace to those who were willing to hear the gospel, not force it on those who were not. |
