Bible Question:
I need more insight on numbers 13:1-33 Moses sends spies into the promise land. |
Bible Answer: God was keeping His promise to Abramham's seed. God wanted them to see the land they were going to possess, but the few who came back gave an evil report because of the strength and number they saw. They compared themselves to the other people and their doubt and unbelief caused them to be weak and fearful. They feared because they looked at their own strength and not the strength of God. Caleb saw himself strong in the Lord. No matter how many in number and big or strong the others looked, he had already seen enough of God acts to know they would win the battle. Joshua and Caleb believed. Read Numbers 14:6-9 We should not look at the outside and determine what the inside holds. The men who feared did not know their own strength in the Lord and for this reason they did not enter into the land which God had promised. Read Numbers 14:20-24, whatever trails you encounter trust the Lord with all your heart. When the enemy tries to come up against you like a flood, just know that you can do all things in Christ Jesus. CVG |
