Bible Question: Who in the Bible is the greatest example of integrity? Explain why. |
Bible Answer: "Have you considered My servant Job?" Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause." Job 2:3 (All verses quoted here are from the New King James Bible.) AMPLIFIED Job 2:3 And the Lord said to Satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who [reverently] fears God and abstains from and shuns all evil [because it is wrong]? And still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved Me against him to destroy him without cause. Job 2:9 Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!" Job 27:5 Far be it from me That I should say you are right; Till I die I will not put away my integrity from me. Job 31:6 Let me be weighed on honest scales, That God may know my integrity. |
