Bible Question: WHAT AGE WAS THE YOUNGEST PERSON THAT MARRIED IN THE BIBLE? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Leroy, I do not believe that I can find anywhere in the Bible that suggests that any person married under the age of 20.. As for the age of 20, it was generally regarded as an age where men were considered as able to serve in the army (Numbers 1:3), and I would suggest that this would also carry the "acknowledgment" of adulthood, and therefore marriage. But that is the best answer that I can give you, based upon Biblical evidence. Perhaps someone who is more "well-versed" in Jewish culture could more accurately answer this question. - Nolan |
