Bible Question: verses that show the concept that tithe plus offering equals blessing ? |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Due 28:1-14, 15-68; Psa 78:23-24; Mal 3:6-18 ... MKISSCAT, greetings. This is found in Mal 3:8-12, the bigger context is verses 6-18. Notice it is only the tithe that brought blessing (vs 10). This passage has been misapplied. - The blessing is food only (Psa 78:23-24). - This is a promise to Israel, and may be a one time promise. Notice verse 8 mentions robbery. We need to rob God, even disobey Him, to get a curse (vs 8). Read the constast of being blessed and cursed (Due 28:1-14, 15-68). Searcher |
