Bible Question: i have tattoos and i use them to celebrate and moarn events and people in my life. Why is that wrong, but a woman can have her ears pierced. Don't they both mark the body for the purpose of self decoration? |
Bible Answer: Dear jtsimsfamily, Welcome to the forum! There is nothing intrinsically wrong with tattoos. However, our Lord Jesus did not have them. Further, given how common they are in broad areas of groups who are characterized by many other immoral and amoral activities, wouldn't we want to be identified with believers, rather than the world? In Him, Doc PS Have you ever asked any older Christian men -- let's say over 50 -- who have tattoos, if they regret getting them? It might be interesting. |
