Bible Question: Meaning Christians should not get tattoos at all? Even as a means of decoration, such as like earrings? Just because you like the way they look? What about tattoos you have from before becoming a Christian? Also, how should one respond to unbelieving friends who want to get one for decoration, or in memory of someone? |
Bible Answer: Lets remember that in leviticus 19:28 , 'You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD. Lets remember that they are worshipping other gods with their, cuttings and tattoos. I would be under the impression that if one could bring glory to god with a tattoo, then with all do respect do so.Not to challenge your point of view of course. But shouldn't we take all in context, in order to bring glory to God, for if you are correct in your beleif then dont cut your beard or round the corners of your head LEV 19:27. love in Christ RCScroll |
