Bible Note: Thanks for the input. Just to address point #2 you made: 2) You applied the "middle of the week" of Daniel to the final week before the resurrection. Yet, animal sacrifices did not cease until 70 a.d., more than 40 years later. What I was saying is that, since the ultimate sacrifice had been offered, animal sacrifice was no longer a value to God. Whether the Jews contined to sacrifice animals for 40 or 500 more years is not relevant. In God's eyes, animal sacrifice ceased to be of meaning to Him after Christ was crucified. Sometimes people in the forum get a little uptight when differing opinions come along, even when doing Bible studies sometimes! Did you ever get one of these?
