Bible Question:
Hello! I understand that there is much speculation about the identity of the final beast of Daniel..I've been reading many thoughts about it being the Roman Empire. ..what's your interpretation of this beast? |
Bible Answer: Dear Aretha, Although I'm certain that I haven't read all of the possible interpretations of this passage, I can say with a high degree of certainty that the orthodox Christian view -- dating at least from the fourth century -- has been that this beast symbolizes the Roman Empire.
