Bible Question (short): Has the time arrived to believe in Him? |
Question (full): I can't seem to get interested in prophecy and tribulation theories but the thread on Daniel 7:25 sparked an interest in the "Ancient of Days" in Daniel 7:22. At this time of the year when we think of when the Ancient of Days came into the world as a little Child; do you think that the time has arrived for the holy ones, the saints of God, to humble ourselves and enter His kingdom? Is this the proper time to become a member of God's flock? I think that it is. Now, today, is the time to say that we belong to Christ, the Highest One. Daniel 7:21,22, "I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the *holy ones and overpowering them until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was passed in favor of the *holy ones of the Highest One/, and THE TIME ARRIVED when the *holy ones took possession of the kingdom." 1 Peter 5:4, "And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. 5 ... clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He/ may exalt you AT THE PROPER TIME." What I see in these passages is the contrast between us, the ones who belong to God, ones chosen by God, ones called by God, and the Highest One. Daniel 7:9, "I kept looking, until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of (Days) took His seat;..." Daniel 7:13, "I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a (Son) of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. And to Him/ was given dominion, glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and men of every language might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and (His) kingdom is one which will not be destroyed." Is it time to humble yourself and become a member of His kingdom?
