AMPLIFIED 2015 | Daniel 2:43 "And as you saw the iron mixed with common clay, so they will combine with one another in the seed of men; but they will not merge [for such diverse things or ideologies cannot unite], even as iron does not mix with clay. |
Subject: Who is the "they" in this passage? |
Bible Note: Hi kalos, When you continue on in your passages and comparison of Daniel and Matthew 24, I think that you would find Daniel 11:31 and Matthew 24:24 interesting. The passages deal with the people who know their God and the elect. Daniel 11:32, "And by smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their *God will display strength and take action." Matthew 24:24, "For false *Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, the elect." It is my expectant hope that the elect will know their God. Later, Ray |
