AMPLIFIED 2015 | Daniel 12:11 "From the time that the regular sacrifice [that is, the daily burnt offering] is taken away and the abomination of desolation is set up [ruining the temple for worship of the true God], there will be 1,290 days. [Dan 11:31] |
Bible Question: Daniel 12 refers to a 75 day period between Jesus returning at the second coming to Mt. Olives. Why? |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Dan 12:11-12 ... Verse 11 is above, and 12 is below. "When the multitude is carried away, his heart will be lifted up, and he will cause tens of thousands to fall; yet he will not prevai (vs 12 NASB). When the multitude is taken and carried away, the heart and mind [of the Egyptian king] shall be exalted, and he shall cast down tens of thousands, but he shall not prevail (vs 12 AMPLIFIED). I see this a something about Antichus Epiphanes and/ or the future (8:14, 11:28). Please explain the "75 day period between Jesus returning at the second coming to Mt. Olives." Searcher |
