Bible Question: Will this gate ever be opened? By Jesus? When? Please support any answer with Scripture - thanks! mommapbs |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Neh 3:39; Eze 8:16, 43:1-4, 44:1-2; Luk 19:28ff; Acts 3:1-10 ... Since the Bible says it will not be open, I believe that. It may be sealed, so there will be no more sun worship (Eze 8:16). From from notes ... Through this gate Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Luk 19:28 ff). It was called the "Beautiful Gate of the temple" where the miracle of the healing of the lame man was performed (Acts 3:1-10). It was walled up in 1530, by the Ottoman Turks. Today it is called Haram Sharif and is still walled up. Some claim when Jesus comes, it will be opened. But, there is no Bibilcal support. Searcher |
