Bible Question: Some have said that the temple described in Ezekiel 40-43 refers to Christ. As detailed as the description of the temple is in these chapters, I don't see how it is possible. Could this temple be Christ, Himself? |
Bible Answer: Could this temple be Christ, Himself? Absolutely not! People continually try to allegorize the Bible. While the temple represented many aspects or attributes of Christ, it was not Christ. Example the table of show bread reflects the bread of Life aspect of Jesus. The golden lampstand reflects Jesus as the light unto the world. But these are not Jesus but representations of His attributes. EdB |
