Subject: Rapture before Wrath |
Bible Note: I read something very interesting the other day, from Jack Kelly, which, for brevity's sake, I will paraphrase: Working backward, you can't have the Second Coming until after the Great Tribulation. You can't have the Great Tribulation until after the Abomination of Desolation. You can't have the Abomonation of Desolation until the Jews build the temple. The Jews won't build the temple until they re-enter their covenant with God. They won't re-enter their covenant with God until they are spiritually awakened. They won't be spiritually awakened until the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39. I thought that was extremely interesting, and completely Biblically sound. The thing about Ezekiel 38-39 is that not only does it describe the very same events as happening at both the opening of the sixth seal and the sounding of the first trumpet (both of these are the wrath of God), but it is clearly stated as the time of God's wrath. When does God's wrath begin? Eze 39:8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, says the Lord GOD; this is the day of which I have spoken. This prophecy will be fulfilled at the beginning of the 70th Week. It is a prophecy of the Wrath of God. Does the Church go through God's wrath? I don't think so. Love in Christ, Mark |
