Bible Question: Why do we lose the devotion and love we had for the Lord? What will it take to return to Him ... and stay? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Steve! We must not let the things of this world get in our way, or get between us and our walk with the Lord. Whenever we know that we are not "right" with the Lord, it has always been the case that WE have moved away from the Lord, since the Lord never "moves away" from us, and He will always love His children. To stay devoted to the Lord?? We must focus on nothing but the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And then we will be brought back to Him through our unworthiness and shame of our sin in light of what He has done for us. - Nolan |
