Bible Question:  Is their any Biblical evidence of our spirit pre-existing ?

Bible Answer:  Dear crv464,

Jer 1:5

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
KJV

If God foreknew Jeremiah before he was in the flesh of the womb and the Scriptures in 1Cor 15:44 say we have two bodies, one physical(flesh) and one spiritual, both separate and distinct from each other. One is corruptible and one is incorruptible.

What body would Jeremiah be in if flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven and he was already known by God before being in the flesh?

The Hebrew word for "I knew thee" in Jer 1:5 is

OT:3045

yada (yaw-dah'); a primitive root; to know (properly, to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively, instruction, designation, punishment, etc.) [as follow]:

Rom 11:2-5
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
