Bible Question: I was wondering if anyone had information, opinions, or ... anything really, in regards to the age of accountability? Thanks for your time. God bless :) |
Bible Answer: Hi Child: Here are another 2 cents worth, by the time this is finished, you'll be rich! Anyway, my opinion, information, and a little bit of assumption thrown in for good luck. We are talking about a verse that is in the Old Test. Isaiah 7:16, that puts it into a Jewish belief when this age is, in the Jewish religion, a boy comes to the age of accountability, at his Bar-Mitzva. That comes to the age of 12. We can't look at things in the Jewish world, and try to figure them out, in a Gentile world mentality. Like in Revelation, how many of the things spoken of, relate only to a JEWISH TIMETABLE, if we dont understand the timetable to start with we will never come to the knowledge of the truth. |
