Bible Question: Why did God use men to write the Scriptures when He wrote the Ten Commandments on stone by himself? |
Bible Answer: Dear dverner: I could write a dozen posts giving you my speculations on why God chose to do things the way He did. But speculations are as common as dirt and not nearly as valuable. Isaiah 55:8 answers a multitude of the "why did God" type of questions and man has never been able to improve on what God inspired Isaiah to write some 2,700 years ago: "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways," declares the Lord. --Hank |
