Bible Question:
Hi ya, I'm new here, but I have a question please. I spend a lot of time at MTV.com, "fight for your rights" forum. I try to offer some alternative responses to the usual atheistic views. Yes quite challenging but I feel it's a worthy effort. One of the questions asked is: "What did Jesus look like?" It seems I remember studies show that Jesus was of a fairly dark complexion but looked basically very average. Please let me know if you have any scriptural references regarding Jesus' physical appearance or any other studies done regarding this question. Thank you for your help. V |
Bible Answer: Revelation 1:13-15 "And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters." |
