Subject: Senility 'n th'Word of God: A Meditation |
Bible Note: Greeting Lionstrong! This is an interesting concept however, there are many believers who faithfully loved and served the Lord and today are suffering with various forms of senility or dementia.(Perhaps I'm wrong to link the two) So I'm struggling a bit with this hypothesis, but it is definitely worth considering. One can lose their memory and still be "kept in peace." What does this phrase really mean? Do we try to put our spin on what this peace is or should we think more "out of the box" on this matter. One's mind, the ability to process information, is "at peace" because of THE Peace we have IN CHRIST. So, no matter what happens, we can rest in that assurance. Any comments here? Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, "I have no delight in them" Ecc 12:1 I suspect that those who have done so will indeed recall the memory of the Lord when they remember little else, but remembering the Lord daily does not appear to be an insurance policy against senility or dementia. Just some thoughts to follow up on your post. Blessings, mommapbs |
