Bible Question (short): Commandment |
Question (full): I have a question, some might go what, that doesn't make sense. Well hear me out. I went to church one time, and I was interested in joining the army. So I wrote a prayer request on there little cards that they handed out to everyone. I wrote down something about, what if I join, is it right to kill somebody? I asked that, then in return, I remember specifically that one of the guys there I don't know if he was a pastor or not, or just a volunteer, I don't know. He said that God used people all the time to kill others. Well, my confusion is, if one of the commandments says we shall not murder and God does not like that, then why on earth would he want one of his own people or someone to commit murder or Kill some one for whatever reason? I just don't really beleive that is right. |
