Bible Question:
I was wondering if the mountain of the Lord quoted by Isaiah and possibly Micah 4:1-2 is the same great and high mountain John quotes in Revelation 21:10? I am trying to get some basic understanding on the location of the millenial reign of Christ. Thanks |
Bible Answer: Greetings RealTruthAlways, Isaiah 2:2-4 is almost identical to Micah 4:1-3, both speaking of the "mountain of the LORD" (Mount Zion). See also Zechariah 14:16. According to Ezekiel 40:2, I can almost assure you that the mountain spoken of in Revelation 21:10 is also Mount Zion (see Ezekiel 17:22; Isaiah 2:2; Micah 4:1; Psalm 48:1-2 and Zechariah 14:10). Blessings to you, Makarios |
