Bible Question:
hi BradK;stjohn thank you so much for your input. I have been active in pentecostal church choirs for about 9 yrs(!has it reall been that long?!), and literally came out of singing half naked in jazz clubs to raising high praise unto the king up kings - covered up beautifully. From the very beginning and throughout, everywhere I've been, pastors and co- workers say this thing about Satan/Lucifer, having such a beautiful singing voice and after his fall he's supposed to target musicians in the body of Christ to exact a peculiar revenge upon us. It is an excuse I heard from the us to europe and africa as to why people in church music often fall in particular into sexual sin and pride. Can it be that just as I searched and found no basis for this, that this is just another trick of the enemy? How ignorant some of us must be that such things with no scriptural support can be so deeply entrenched in our hearts, and accepted even by renowned pastors and speakers!! |
Bible Answer: Dear other..mother; Thank you so much for your response! SING YOUR HEART OUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! AND HE WILL BLESS YOU GREATLY! Enjoy the honor to be blessed with a voice! So praise God with it! But do be careful.... Satin has us all in his sites! God bless you! stj . |
