Bible Note: Hi, Halroy... All analogies, particularly relating to the divine attributes, tend to be problematic to one degree or another. The worst thing about them is that they cause people to have a false sense of comprehension. Recognizing the limits of our knowledge is really not a problem. After all, who wants the kind of God that can be easily understood! The other problem is that the Scripture does not clearly teach a trichotomy.
