Bible Question:
Many thousands of Christians have done THE PURPOSE DVIVEN LIFE 6 weeks. Many thousands more have seen the PASSION OF CHRIST. So my question is..."where is the beef"? I wonder where are those who have made a change in the lives? Have we become a Nation of reading how to improve outselves, and looking for the Bible to come out in film? What has come out of these programs and movies that is significant? justme |
Bible Answer: justme: Your question is interesting but can it be anwered objectively? All results are not in and even if they were, how can they be qualitatively measured? Seeds need time to germinate and the planter may never see the harvest. There is an interesting passage in Ecclesiastes that may be germane to our discussion. "Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days...Just as you do not know the path of the wind and how bones are formed in the womb of the pregnant woman, so you do not know the activity of God who makes all things. Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle in the evening, for you do not know whether morning or evening sowing will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good."
