Bible Question: Please explain Proverbs 3:5-6 |
Bible Answer: Not sure what needs to be explained the text is straight forward. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB) 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. WE must learn to trust God, often God's way is counter to our way. But if we commit to God totally body mind and will God will make things work to our good. Also we must always make sure that what ever we do all eyes are on God and not us. Many like to say "oh it was God that did it." but what they really mean is, "look at me how religious I am God worked through me." When everyone sees God and not us things go fantastic. But the minute we try to get into the picture (mostly for fame or fortune) God steps out and says okay you do it. Not Good! Hope this helps |
