Bible Question: Blessings to all, it has been a while since I have been in here. I know that God is all knowing and all powerful. My question is this, recently we had water damage in our home from an icemaker tube that sprung a leak, and the contractor who repaired the damages has done more damage to our home, but denies doing it. We have found so much damage to appliances, our water heater has burnt up because evidently the contractors when they took it out installed it wrong. I would estimate that they have done about three to four thousand dollars worth of damage in addition to the twelve thousand dollars worth of damage from the water itself. In the Word of God, is it wrong to take this company to court for damages that they have caused? I know that God tells us not to take your brother to court. And does anyone have any other ideas about from a legal standpoint of what we can do? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you and God Bless. |
Bible Answer: Just to add one other option you cab contact the Better Buisness Bureau on line at www.bbb.org if the contractor is a member then arbatration is there for yoy. If the contractor is not file a complaint and at least others will know what shabby work you have expereinced. I am assuming you have contacted the contractor and made it clear how unhappy you are. Most of all is to keep your temper and testamony for a witness for those helping you. justme |
