Subject: Sports: Is "competitiveness" good? |
Bible Note: Thanks Steve for your answer! I picked Proverbs 16:32 because it says, "He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city." So in other words, is it 'more fulfilling' to practice self control in athletic defeat or better to obtain the ultimate prize? Oh well. :-) So much for my unsuccessful attempt at getting the Forum's attention off of Catholicism and Colossians.. Blessings to you, Nolan |
