Bible Question:
Moses talks to God face to face. But then how come in Ex. 33:20, God says that he couldn't live if he saw his face? Thanks. Ryan |
Bible Answer: In 33:11, face to face is used metaphorically. God spoke directly to Moses, just as a man speaks to his friend. The presence or, the spirit of God was, I'm sure, all Moses was able to see. |
