Bible Question: Why would Moses think the Jews would want to know God's name? |
Bible Answer: Moses as human afraid that the people of israel will not believed on him if he present himself as man from God. Jews as a human being would ask for the proof if really sent by God, and one of that would be asking moses who sent him and what is the name of the Person sent him. Ex 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? |
