Bible Question: Thanks for prompt reply. I guess I'm still puzzled how he stayed asleep during what was described as a tempest. How then was he woken? |
Bible Answer: Greetings, I was in Mississippi doing volunteer work when Rita went into Texas. Even though I was in a fifth wheel that was "rocking" in the wind I was able to go to sleep and stay asleep because I had no fear of the storm - I knew that God would keep me safe. However if my cell phone would of rung I would of woke up. I think it was the same with Jesus. He had no fear of the storm and was at total peace through it, so He fell asleep and slept through it. I think it might of "rocked" Him to sleep even. However, when the disiples tried to wake Him up he awoke for them. Does this example help at all? prayon |
