Subject: Why is bigamy ok but adultry isn't? |
Bible Note: Hi Rolff, I saw your post and it caused me to wonder, 'where does anyone say that bigamy is ok?' Actually, the Bible is written about history, and bigamy is reported, nowhere does the Bible condone the practice. I think it is there to show us our fallen nature, as it is a detestable prctice in my view. To take the practice to an extreme, Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines. That may look desirable to a man's flesh, but can anyone even imagine what it would be like to have 700 mothers-in-law? ((o:] (just kidding, honey) |
