Bible Question: Can you please explain generation curses to me? I've been puzzled by what this means exactly for a while. Any insight you can provide will be greatly appreciated. In Christ, Beth |
Bible Answer: Greetings Beth, I agree with what srbaegon and jlpangilinan said but I wanted to add that it is important to remember that Moses promised us that God does not punish the children for the sins of their parents (Deut 24:16 and Eze 18:19-32), but as they said the children will feel the impact of breaches in God's laws. In addition a generational curse doesn't include only idolatry and such but can also include things like diaabetes, depression or any other thing that is "passed from one generation to the next". prayon |
